1. Before requesting your Official Military Personnel File (OMPF) by Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) (DSN 221-EREC or Cml 703-325-3732) or by Interactive Web Response System (IWRS) (www.erec.army.mil) please check your address on the world wide locator from any military or government computer (www.erec.army.mil). If this is not where you want your OMPF mailed please send a signed request by fax to CDR, EREC 317-510-3685 with your name, SSN and a good mailing address (civilian home address is okay). We want to ensure you get your OMPF in a timely manner. We are here to serve you so give this information to other Soldiers in your organization. 

2. Additional information can be found at web site www.perscom.army.mil. EREC has a button on the left side of the page. Also on this home page you will find The Adjutant General home page. Click it and on the left side of The Adjutant General home page is EREC. Our home page will give you additional information on boards and your OMPF. 

3. Remember senior enlisted selection boards are about the same time every year MSG February; SFC June; and CSM/SGM October. When you're in the zone please ensure your ERB and 2-1 are correct and your photo is current. Please sign your ERB early so that your personnel office can get it to EREC before the board.
